The four of pentacle
A word from the creator of the Linestrider tarot:
Wealth, prosperity, greed, materialism, superficiality.
The four of the pentacle shows a figure who holds his material possessions. The card speaks of the achievement and accumulation of wealth, but it also warns us against greed and materialism. The character clings to his possessions which immobilize him, causing him to move away from his city and separate from his community. The four of the pentacle can be both positive and negative. Like most pentacles, this card speaks of prosperity and wealth, but it warns us of the unwanted and alienating consequences of being primarily concerned with material things. This card bodes well for people seeking wealth and success, but be aware that success is a double-edged sword.
The positive aspects of this card are generally less marked than the negative aspects. Conversely, the four of the pentacle evokes greed avarice, harmful materialistic behaviors, and a phobia of poverty that could hinder your progress. You may be reluctant to spend money, you are spending too much in order to combat your obsession with poverty. Either way, you'll need to better manage your financial resources, honestly assess your possessions, and learn to eliminate fear, anxiety and greed, all while seeing wealth as one of the facets of a healthy life."
